Myself in silhouette form

For this photo i tried to add fun and interesting things about myself to my silhouette. The saxophone shows both my love for music and my love for the saxophone. I'm a Mac person and generally can't stand PCs, so I took an old apple logo and spiced it up with the art history tool. Up top there is Platypus which depicts both my love for the Platypus and the great continent/country that it lives in. The numbers 311 happen to the name of one of my favorite bands, so I used them. i also have a great love for peace which is why you can see it used on my left shoulder.

Eat Mor Zebrah

Jamie and I worked together to create a zebra with several body parts from other animals. The zebra is angry at the cow standing in front of a sign reading, Eat mor zebrah, which we made up using the common slogan, eat more chicken. To put together this funny zebra, we used a zebra body and cut off the tail and the head, and replaced them with a squirrel tail and an ostrich head. For the cool hair, we found a picture of Glenn Plake's hair, and adjusted it to fit the ostrich head. We played with the colors of some stripes on the zebra and added a stork on the back of the zebra. Then we added a big strong arm on the zebra to give the aspect of anger towards the cow we later put in. Using Photoshop painting tools tools we created a sign and a pole for the sign, and used the paint brush tool for the writing on the sign.

My 15 Green Things

For this class assignment i was given 15 pictures, all of which were tinted green, and told to make them into one picture. I thought that looking at a picture entirely made of green would be REALLY boring, so I tried adding different colors and textures to the photos using my newly found Photoshop abilities. I found inspiration from some of the wall paintings that I have seen in Crozet and Charlottesville. I thought that the archway would be a perfect place to apply the wall painting look. I find that I did rather well for a novice photoshop user and would have not changed much.
